Last year, thanks to you and many others in our community, we were able to purchase 2 new accessible vehicles for the people we serve and thus help to “solve our transportation puzzle.” This has greatly enhanced the ability for individuals who use wheelchairs to participate more fully in the community! We are truly appreciative of the generosity you have shown to Cottonwood and the people we support!
“Home is the nicest word there is.” Laura Ingalls Wilder
For many of us, home is where the heart is. It is the place we live, love, laugh, and renew. The value we place on home transcends race, gender, age, income, and disability. Its’ worth is priceless.
Cottonwood has a long history of striving to do more than meet minimum health and safety measures. We believe that people deserve environmental comfort and enjoyment as well. To this end, annually we compile a list containing essential projects and esthetic improvements. Items may range from fire pull stations and new furnaces to patio furniture and replacing serviceable but dated flooring with attractive, easy to care for ceramic tile.
“Charity should begin at home, but should not stay there.” Phillip Brooks
Thanks to the generosity and support of people like you, we will be able to check off items from both categories next year.
“People usually are the happiest at home.” William Shakespeare
We thank you in advance for your generosity and caring commitment to others in need!
